A Cleanliness Drive and Anti-plastic Campaign was organized in Mahishadal on 28th Mar, 2011 at Mahishadal. A total of 300 volunteers walked in a procession on a stretch of 3 kms on foot holding placards of several messages related to Environment and Hygiene. The place for antiplastic campaign was Mahishadal Bajar. The volunteer team cleaned up the plastics from the marketplace. They also educated the local people and shop-owners about the hazards of using plastic.
